This is a new & exciting initiative of The Hope Centre, where we are gathering the churches of Macclesfield together to create a 'Prayer Stop' in the centre of our town ahead of Christmas.
In unity, we will be supporting our community practically & prayerfully, aware that many face challenging times.
Christmas can be a wonderful time for some people but for many it is stressful, painful & often very lonely. Prayer Stop will be held in the Grosvenor Centre 10th- 29th Nov & will provide everyone in our community the opportunity to stop & chat, find out about community events & church services that will be available to attend during the run up to Christmas and beyond. There will be volunteers available throughout the sessions to listen, chat and to also offer prayer to anyone who comes in.
A 'Prayer Tree' will be available for anyone wishing to write down their prayers & hang them on the tree as an expression of their thoughts & feelings.
